Hisanori typically paints plant material, including the twenty-three pictures of flowers or fruits shown below. Click on a picture to enlarge it. Unlike most other artists, Hisanori draws his painting subject as if it was being seen at a distance rather than up close (i.e., small size rather than large size) and he leaves the picture background blank. This approach may encourage picture viewers to get closer for a better look.
